Launched in 2022, the Okayo OTG-102 mGuideⓇ (US ready) is undoubtedly Okayo Electronics’ most advanced digital tour guide system, and likely the most modern tour guide system in its class overall. The Mexpo-sold model features additional functions specifically tailored for our clients.
1 Set – 2 Continents
OTG-102 receivers can legally operate in both Europe and the United States. Simply purchase an additional transmitter in the American band and switch the range on the receivers. That’s all. There’s no need to buy separate sets for tours traveling overseas.
Simple System – Incredible Possibilities
Additionally, the Okayo OTG-102 tour guide system is equipped with the following capabilities:
- Simultaneous transmission from two transmitters on the same channel (for up to 1 group). This allows, for example, a guide and a tour leader to communicate with the group simultaneously.
- Group counting – checking the number of receivers within the transmitter’s transmission range – in other words, the guide no longer even needs to see everyone to count the group and
- check if anyone is lost.
- Remote alarm triggering (sound and vibration) to, for example, get the group’s attention or announce the end of a break.
- Range alarm – the receiver will notify the user when they start to move out of the transmitter’s range.
Break in narration? Play some music!
The transmitter has an additional 3.5mm TRS Aux-in jack for connecting an external audio source, such as a smartphone or MP3 player. This allows you to broadcast music or play a pre-recorded audio guide during breaks.
Tour guiding has never been so energy-efficient…
OTG-102 receivers boast the longest operating time in their class on a single power source (over 40 hours) and can operate on either two or just one AA battery or rechargeable battery.
Universally Designed
The OTG-102 system was designed with people with disabilities (PWD) in mind. The high-contrast OLED display on the transmitter provides better readability for visually impaired individuals. The headphone jack with HAC (Hearing-Aid-Compatible) option on the receivers ensures that connected headphones work with hearing aids. Dedicated buttons enable simple and intuitive use of the devices.
Along with the OTG-102 system, we offer a wide selection of accessories such as microphones, headphones, chargers, and transport bags and cases.
