Tour Guide System – Okayo WT-300D receiver

The digital model WT-300D (purple receivers, turquoise transmitters) is not compatible with the old analog generations of this model (red receivers, blue transmitters). Lack of compatibility is not grounds for complaint or return of goods.

The Okayo WT-300 cannot be described in any other way than as being a cult model. The red receivers have been accompanying guides and tourists across Europe for over ten years now. They have gained a devoted following thanks to their great parameters, such as e. g. range, operating time, resistant housing or simple handling.

All good things come to an end… to make room for something better!

New digital generation – Okayo WT-300D (Digital) model.

Thanks to the move to digital transmission, we are able not only to offer more competitive prices than for older, analog versions (parts for analog systems are no longer manufactured, hence, their prices are rising), but we are offer to offer a new – hitherto unavailable – function of remote channel changes in receivers. In addition, Okayo WT-300D receivers are HAC (Hearing-Aid Compatible), making them friendly to people using hearing aids.

Less means more.

The Okayo WT-300D has twenty-five channels… but it’s only apparently less than in the older generation.
The new digital Okayo WT-300 can achieve more channels simultaneously than its analog predecessor. Up to 25 groups can be guided at the same time using separate channels in the same limited space (the analog model allowed up to ten). This means that the probability of interference caused by other groups using the same model at popular tourist destinations is even lower.

New model – known advantages.

The Okayo WT-300D offers very good range – as already known – and an even longer operating time than its analog older brother. One charge or set of fresh batteries will allow the receiver to operate over 35 hours, meaning – ten more.

The housing of the WT-300D has not changed… beside the colour that is. This is still tried and proven ABS material, resistant to fractures and even small cracks, however, this time it comes in a unique and original colour.

The transmitter has a built-in microphone, if your favourite external mike, e. g. the LM-90 or HM-65, is misplaced somewhere.

All current accessories, including Okayo HDC-300 chargers, are compatible with the new Okayo WT-300D model.
