Tour Guide System – Okayo WT-350D transmitter

The Okayo WT-350D City Jungle Edition model is not compatible with the analog Okayo WT-350 system. A headset must be purchased separately for the Okayo WT-350D transmitter.

The unit is equipped with a clearly legible display, indicator LEDs and and a built-in microphone. In order to achieve optimum sound quality it is recommended to use an external headset.

The transmitter for the Okayo WT-350D City Jungle Edition in muted green provides the system, together with the yellow receiver, with a unique and, as the name suggests, urban character.

The Okayo WT-350D wireless communication system was designed with tourism in mind, where security and control over the group are key.
Especially for this purpose, the transmitter was equipped with a switch to activate bidirectional conversations: Thanks to this, at appropriate times, the guide may allow the participants to speak. This function improves the feeling of security, as it allows anyone to notify the guide for instance, when guests wander off or want to ask questions e. g. during a bus ride.

Furthermore, the use of digital instead of analogue transmission offers new possibilities, e. g. improvement of the unit performance to yield a better range, or quicker, remote channel changes ordered by the transmitter.
