A kitchen assistant operating the pass can use the radio station&#8217;s microphone to notify waiters that an order is ready for pickup. The PTT button that activates transmission can be operated using a special foot PTT pedal (FS-01 \u2013 foot PTT switch for SM-01) hands-free, as hands may be occupied with work.<br \/>\nMeanwhile, waiters equipped with pocket-sized G2 radios with discreet headset-microphone sets can instantly place drink orders to the bar or confirm they&#8217;re ready to pick up orders from the pass.<\/p>\n<p>In a hotel, the mGuide GST set can also be used to coordinate the housekeeping team.
